"LineagE"jewelry exhibition featuring teresa faris.
Teresa Faris has lead the UWW Metalsmithing program since 2003. Through select works, this exhibition honors this nearly 20 years of mentorship as well as the rich lineage of metalsmithing tradition within the state of Wisconsin. The invited artists have all studied with Faris and have been asked to respond to the idea of “lineage”. The works are intended to be worn on the body, and the artists have chosen to represent this idea of lineage in diverse ways - representing a variety of materials, concepts and form.
