Fobots (Found Object Robots) are the creations of Raleigh, NC artist Amy Flynn. Combing flea markets, auctions, antique malls and the internet for cool, vintage junk, Amy then solders and bolts her finds together to create one-of-a-kind robots. They are not functional, they are not toys, and they will not go on a rampage while you sleep.

Like the Tin Man, each Fobot has a heart in it. If the bot opens up, you can see it dangling from a little chain. If it doesn't open, you'll still be able to hear it rattling around inside.
